You can help us to keep waiting times short by letting us know if you are not going to be able to attend the appointment you have been given. This allows us to quickly book you an alternative date and offer your original appointment to another patient. Focus on Patients
In line with patient expectations we place a high emphasis on patient safety, quality, accessibility and speed of access.
We continually monitor patient views on our services through questionnaires and unsolicited feedback. These are routinely discussed at our monthly team meetings and improvements are made wherever needed.
We offer longer than average appointment times to allow patients the opportunity to fully discuss their case with the clinician and feedback shows that this is valued highly, with patient satisfaction at over 98%.
All our services conduct regular reviews of the quality of our clinical care. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and comply with all of their quality standards.
All of our services are based within family doctor or opticians’ practices. We try wherever possible to set up our clinics in locations that are convenient to our patients and offer easy (usually free) parking, helping to reduce the stress that can be associated with getting to a hospital appointment.
Where possible we offer evening and weekend appointments in response to patient requests to provider a more convenient service.
In most of our services patients have a choice of a male or female clinician for their appointment.
Speed of access
We monitor waiting times on a daily basis to ensure that we can offer appointments as quickly as possible. Depending on which service you have been referred to it is possible to be seen within 2 weeks of your initial referral.
