bl_largeBryan is an astute commercial and Finance director with in-depth experience of creating, managing and developing organisations to achieve challenging objectives.

Bryan has over 10 years’ experience working with health and care organisations as well as over 30 years as a senior manager/director bringing about organisational change in both the private and public sectors and successfully delivering a wide variety of projects and programmes. As well as Bryan’s role as Commercial Director he also plays a key part in mentoring senior management and board members, as well as holding non-executive roles to strengthen the fledgling teams.

Another key aspect of Bryan’s work has been helping to educate and up-skill NHS staff to enable them to operate more successfully in their increasingly competitive environment. This work has included designing, developing and delivering a series of seminars and workshops for organisations like the BMA, LMCs, SHAs, PCTs, and GP groups. Now CCGs are increasingly turning to Bryan for support in such areas as change management and conflict resolution, as well as business specific topics such as setting up a business, writing business plans, winning tenders and negotiation skills. Bryan is also responsible for the Directors’ Development programme, which aims to assist clinicians develop the skill set necessary to perform well in their new roles as directors of businesses.

Prior to being involved in the health and care sector, Bryan held senior strategic and operational management positions in a number of leading organisations including Inter-City, Rank, Grand Metropolitan and Allied Lyons.

Bryan also holds a special interest in media training and regularly hosts media training seminars to assist NHS managers and staff in developing PR strategies, managing the media and crisis consultancy.
